 Karl
Nurse began his career in television broadcasting, and has held
positions as Community Affairs Director and Executive Producer with
the Boston station, WCVB-TV/Channel 5. During his twenty-year tenure
at the WCVB, Karl directed and produced acclaimed news and entertainment
broadcasts, and award-winning documentaries and black history programs.
For his work in television, he was honored with the prestigious
Gabriel and Ollie awards, five New England Emmy awards and a permanent
program placement in the Museum of Broadcasting. |

Today, as a veteran of the
broadcasting and video production industry, Karl brings in-depth
knowledge and experience to his clients’ communications projects.
Through his firm Karl Nurse Communications, he provides a full range
of media services. He develops and produces original videos for
corporate and institutional marketing, training, conferences and
special events. |

His clients have ranged from small
nonprofit groups, such as the Children’s Museum of Boston and
the Business Collaborative, to institutions of international renown,
including the Fleet Financial Group, Reebok, the Gillette Company
and Harvard University. His broadcast quality videos are technologically
superior, created on location and in his company’s own sophisticated
video production and television studio facilities. |
